The Kiowa School District (Elbert County School District C-2) serves the community of Kiowa Colorado . One finds however that the majority of the front range communities that are part of Denver are a diverse mix of public systems, charter schools, and private/parochial schools. Please see the more school connections link for private, charter and home schooling options.
Attendance boundaries for each school can change often. The property address will determine school attendance. It is best to check with the district for accurate information.

A wiki link to the city’s history and the Kiowa’s Town history page. Kiowa is the true reflection of the old west starting as a stage stop for the Smoky Hill Trail, the Butterfield Overland Dispatch and Wells Fargo on their trek into Denver. The town has even had a lynching of 4 horse theives after a 3 day trial was not conclusive. The Kiowa Indians ranged much further south so the name of the town is a bit of a mystery as described better on the town website.
Parks and Recreation
In Kiowa, due to its size and population, the Parks and Recreation cares for 2 town parks; Nordman and Fawn Valley. Of course residents take advantage of opportunities for recreation throughout the area, a lot of which Colorado is famous for including many horse clubs. The rest may be local golf, flag football or softball teams, walking and jogging path maps, or even recreation centers provided for residents.
