LONE TREE’s blue skies, beautiful surroundings, excellent recreational opportunities and flourishing economic community are the first things many people notice about our city.  However, Lone Tree is much more. Lone Tree CO is the smaller neighbor city of Highlands Ranch, which is not currently an incorporated as a city yet has the management and controls in place to become a city, when the owners decide it is time to do so.

The city’s motto, “It’s a great day to be in Lone Tree,” encompasses the overall sense of pride community members share with the city and with one another.  Residents and visitors of all ages enjoy a diverse range of activities and facilities including the Lone Tree Summer Concert Series, the Lone Tree Library, an extensive trail network and first-rate shopping. Cities close to Lone Tree include Highlands Ranch, PArker, Littleton Centennial, Castle Rock, Greenwood Village, Denver, Englewood, Cherry Hills Village, Franktown, Larkspur and Elizabeth Colorado. All are an easy commute to the Denver Tech Center (DTC) or the southeast corridor which includes light rail transportation to downtown Denver Colorado.
